Happy New Year!

Hard to believe the Christmas season is coming to an end here in southern Ontario, there is no snow on the ground!  At least it isn't too cold (yet).

Please join me over on my YouTube channel for my first ever video!  WooHoo!  I can not tell a lie ...... that was nerve wrecking!  Well, practice makes perfect, so I'm told, and it looks like I need lots of practice!  You can still make me feel good by giving me a thumbs up though!!  HaHa!

Today, I shared this cute Valentine's Day card that I actually made for a card swap I am in.  Its simple and uses some new stamps and dies from the Occasions catalogue that premieres on January 3.

To complete this card you will need:

  • Blackberry Bliss Cardstock, 8.5" x 5.5" scored at 4.25" for card base
  • Berry Burst Cardstock, 5.25" x 4" for embossed layer
  • Powder Pink Cardstock, 4" square
  • Crumb Cake Cardstock, 4" square
  • Whisper White Cardstock, 5.5" x 4.25" for inside
  • Memento Ink Pad
  • Blackberry Bliss Ink Pad
  • Adhesive of choice
  • Embellishments of choice
  • Swirl and Curls Textured Impressions Embossing Folder
  • Meant to Be Stamp Set
  • Be Mine Stitched Framelits Dies
  • Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies
You will also, of course,  need your basic tools including a paper trimmer with scoring blade (or a scoreboard), bone folder, big shot machine and stamp blocks or stamparatus.

In the video, I used the stamparatus as I made multiples of this card for a card swap so it was much easier.

I am eternally grateful for any orders placed through my on-line store here.  In fact, any customers who order on-line during the month of January 2019, using the host code 3V2X96DV , will receive enough cardstock to make six of these cards!  Cardstock packs will be mailed out, directly from me, at the end of January.

See my video here for instructions on how to make this card.
